Members’ Night: Observatory closed due to Fire Risk

Friday the 31st of January has been declared a day of Total Fire Ban. When the Fire Risk is Severe or worse or a Total Fire Ban is declared, MBO will close for the day. Please stay away from the mountain and keep cool and safe.

Young Observers – February

February 15 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm AEDT

The first Young Observers session will be held on the 15th of February. New members and those aged 5-10 are encouraged to come to the first session from 6:30 to 7:15. Older and more experienced young observers come to the second session from 7:45 to 9pm. If you have any questions regarding times please email info@mbo.org.au. Observatory Open Day

Ever wanted to see an operational astronomical observatory? Do you have a telescope that you cannot work? Are you interested in learning more about astronomy?
