8pm this Friday is “Newbie Night” (not just for newbies)!

What does this mean?  Good question!  The original concept was to give members (new and old) an opportunity to ask questions about astronomy, cosmology, physics, MBO, etc, but it is also an opportunity for the introduction of new ideas and concepts, new technology, etc.

Please bring along any item of astronomical/cosmological/scientific interest which you think others may like to see, or about which you need answers or help.

Following the discussions and supper there will be viewing through the MBO telescopes (weather permitting).

Members’ Night is on every Friday night commencing at 8PM (doors open 7:30PM). Members and their guests are always welcome.

Please consider the neighbours and drive in and out quietly using low beam only, or better still, parking lights.

Please note: MBO will always be closed on days of Severe, Extreme and Code Red fire ratings, please see the CFA website for that information.
