Friday 24th July 2015 – Marek Dobiecki – Adventures With A Large Telescope
8pm Friday we have MBO member Marek Dobiecki talking about his experiences with his large telescope:
Issues that I have come across while constructing, collimating and using the telescope and the particular solutions I have employed in trying to continually get better performance. All performance is measured at the CCD end with the final image and it’s scientific usefulness.
Following the discussions and supper there will be viewing through the MBO telescopes (weather permitting).
Members’ Night is on every Friday night commencing at 8PM (doors open 7:30PM). Members and their guests are always welcome.
Please consider the neighbours and drive in and out quietly using low beam only, or better still, parking lights.
