8pm Friday 21st April we have our next in our “Beginner’s Nights” series, aiming to help those who are new to astronomy and would like to learn more!

Whether you call them star charts or star maps, having at least one, if not two (or more!) of these items in your observing kit is a must. But which ones should you have? And how do you use them? Come along this Friday to find out, along with a brief history of uranography, and how to star hop your way to those “invisible” deep sky objects. Have you got-a go-to telescope and think you don’t need star maps? Well, you need them just as much as the Dobsonian owners! A talk for all observers of the sky.
