Friday 8pm we have Neil Creek, professional photographer and MBO member, running an “Easy Astrophotography” workshop for us.
Neil Creek presents the workshop he ran at this year’s VASTROC on the basic concepts and challenges of astrophotography and how you can get started with basic equipment that most keen amateur photographers already own. This week Neil will cover the first half of his talk, with the second half on processing astro photos to come to MBO in the near future. Bring your camera and tripod and if it’s a clear night Neil will give hands-on instruction under the stars after the talk.
Neil kindly videoed his talk and has made it available on YouTube (fixed link)!
Members’ Night is on every Friday night commencing at 8PM sharp (doors open 7:30PM). Guests are always welcome.
