It was clear and very cold but it was great conditions for getting the Dobsonian telescopes out at the Young Observers session on Saturday night. We had Jupiter sitting just above our Moon, and Saturn nicely placed for viewing in the eastern sky. Both the Novae and Supernovae groups had a great time viewing the Moon and planets and anything else they could find in the sky. When it got too cold there was lots of hot chocolate and munchies to warm up with. Thanks to everyone who bought a plate to share and to those who helped to get the scopes in and out of the Dome during the night.
