Young Observers Night at the Observatory

Topic for the Event is Constellations

How did they get their names? The stories behind the constellations

The Constellation of the Month for this month’s Young Observers is Orion. Join us as we learn about and observe some of the amazing features of this constellation, including the Great Nebula. We will also learn about constellations in general, not just the ones whose names we may be familiar with but also the legends and stories behind the constellations and asterisms from other cultures, including our own indigenous Australians.

See you at Mount Burnett on March 25th at 7.30 p.m.
