Young Observers Event at the Observatory

Our Constellation for the Month of May is Virgo and this month we will be investigating what the atmosphere of each of our Solar System planets is like. Could you breath if you landed on Mars? Is there any water vapour in the air around Venus? What other chemicals can be found in the atmospheres of the Gas Giants?

Importantly, we will also be allocating our MBO lanterns to those kids and families that will be joining us when we take part in the Belgrave Lantern Festival on June 22nd. This will be our June Young Observers meeting, instead of our usual meeting up at MBO.
