The September session for Young Observers is on Saturday 27th September, 7:30-9:30.
September theme: Magnetism
Constellation of the month: Lupus
Magnetism might not be the first thing you think about when you’re interested in astronomy, but the universe would not exist without it. Without magnetism, atoms would disintegrate, eliminating chemistry, life and the entire structure of the universe. So through thoughtful presentations and hands-on activities, we’re going to explore how it works, from the scale of a fridge magnet to the whole universe.
Please make sure to book in for the session, and list everyone (children and their adults) who are coming along.
DON’T FORGET TO BOOK!! This is very important! Please book by 4pm on the day. We look forward to seeing you soon.
