This Friday James Murray will give a talk entitled “New Horizons” that summarises an eventful week in astronomy. A massive new radio telescope has been launched, radio bursts from the edge of the universe discovered, and a mission to Pluto has been in contact with Tidbinbilla. If that is not enough Neptune has a new moon.

The talk will be followed by supper and observing.

Every Friday night is members night at Mount Burnett. Proceedings start at 8pm. Visitors are always welcome.
