This month we took a look at the basic life cycle of stars. This included a video with a song about the birth of stars, and a worksheet with a word-find puzzle that showed the two paths stars are likely to take; the one our Sun is on, heading towards puffing up into a red giant, turning briefly into a planetary nebula which then just leaves a white dwarf behind, or stars with much more mass which collapse inwards to go supernova, and then turn into either a neutron star or maybe a black hole. The weather was overcast with not a star in sight, so no views of Jupiter, again.
