When I was 7 years old, I got a telescope and a microscope for Christmas.  I still have these items. Even though I used both items for an exceptionally long time I fell in love with the telescope.

My father’s garage roof became my observatory and the journey and love for the Cosmos stayed with me all my life.

Although I didn’t go down the path of being a Cosmologist or similar, I did end up at the Mount Burnett Observatory where I’m living the dream with like-minded people.

The observatory has encouraged me to learn so much more about observing the Universe than I could ever have imagined and inspired this podcast series.

My pathway into radio broadcasting and journalism has also provided me with a means to be able to share with you this cosmology series “Spaced Out”, comprising of interviews from well qualified subject matter experts in cosmology.
