Young Observers

Mount Burnett Observatory has a great program called  a children’s program called Young Observers which is for our amazing Children Observers from 5 years old to 15 years old.

Young Observers events run as one group, the age limit is flexible, but children will be expected to be able to concentrate and behave in a mature enough manner.

Both activities run on Saturdays with the latest dates in the website calendar. Onsite sessions will run from 7.30pm – 9:30pm

Onsite activities include learning about space and astronomy with accompanying educational activities and if weather permits there will be the opportunity to observe the night sky using Mount Burnett Observatory telescopes.
